The past twelve posts have provided details on the key concepts of the Philosophy for LYF, including insights on what you should do with your life, how to live your life, why you want to live your life this way, and the way to live your life. Implementing these will give you a better life. If you need a refresher, start with the post Understanding the Philosophy for LYF, continue reading the posts that follow, and end up back here.
Several of the key concepts of the Philosophy for LYF are depicted in the diagram below.

Living the Philosophy for LYF allows you to experience an elevated life, a high form of living, full of true wealth and true worth, of wisdom, joy, purpose, and actualization.
But how do you get there? This post begins the first of several posts that steps you through a path to your better life.
The Steps Toward Your Elevated Life
Changing your life, even when motivated by the Truths and the desire for a better life, can be difficult. And change can often be a step backwards at the beginning before change becomes a positive.
The good news is the Philosophy for LYF provides a path to your better life that is achievable and always forward. The path is broken into steps. Each step you take is an incremental improvement of where you were before. And each step you take builds off the previous steps to reinforce what you have changed.
Habits take time to build, and the time needed varies for each person. To begin your transformation, a week is suggested for each step—long enough for you to meet the objective of each step, but short enough to keep you moving forward and gaining experience in each key concept. In Week 8, you can determine where you need more practice to make them habits and set a plan to move forward.
The diagram below depicts the steps and the associated key concepts that you embrace as you move toward an elevated life. Note that you start from the ground floor of the philosophy in Week 1 to align your values to the core values. This gives you the goodness of your character that is foundational to bettering your life. Then you move upward. The goodness of your actions (Week 2) leads to the goodness of your purpose (Weeks 3 and 4), which leads to the goodness of your life (Weeks 5, 6, and 7).

A brief description of each week follows.
Week 0 - Record your life's baseline.
How have you been living your life recently? Write it down so you can celebrate your progress by Week 8.
